Entering into the final game of this, inaugural season, the VSI Tampa Flames W-League team needed a win and a little fortune to give them any hope of achieving their pre-season goal of finishing third in the conference.

After a 0- 4 loss and a 0- 5 loss against the perennial powerhouse Atlanta Silverbacks, it would have been easy to write off today's encounter between the VSI Tampa Flames and the Silverbacks.
